Have you ever felt displaced? Have you ever felt removed from the crowd and misunderstood? It's true we have all felt like this at one time or another. Here at PineView Church we are trying to change the face of our church and how ministry impacts our lives on a daily basis. Getting lost in the crowd is a dilemma in any church and we have come up with a plan to reduce this effect with Team Ministries. Team ministry is all about smaller groups within a larger church body.

"And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness..." - Acts 2:46

Each of the nine teams meets periodically in each other's homes and sometimes at the church. There is a feeling of togetherness as members in the team become like a smaller family within a larger curch family. Fellowship is important, and teams are a great way of getting to know a new person or someone you have known for many years.

Leadership is important to an effective team ministry. Each team leader is there to pray and be a mentor for your personal needs. They will come to the hospital when your baby is born or call on prayer for you in church. They wil invite you out to dinner or send you a card in the mail. These are just some of the aspects of ministry that team ministry endeavors to accomplish. The goal of teams is to nurture you as a saint and you as a visitor. We together can learn to bear one another's burdens. Do you want to be a part of something great? If so, Team Ministry has a place for you!
