Turnpoint Ministries

Turnpoint Ministry is made up of many volunteers who reach into our community to help men and women of all ages strive towards finding God's healing power, through life's most unfortunate circumstances.

One of these ministries, "Maxey Boys Training School", is a facility which houses juvenile offenders between the ages of 12 and 21 years. Our Turnpoint volunteers meet with these young men on the first and fourth Saturday of each month in the Chapel located in the Whitmore Lake facility. Since the beginning of this ministry, several of the youth have been baptized, while others have experienced the infilling of the Holy Ghost. God is surely pouring out His presence upon these young men.

Another Turnpoint Ministry meets every tuesday night at Chidester Place, located in the city of Ypsilanti. Many of the men and women who attend struggle with unusual challenges on a day to day basis. Through the small Bible study group, they have come to know Jesus as a God who can help them overcome these daily obstacles. If you would like to get involved with this ministry, please contact:
